Corrections Policy

We welcome specific, source-supported corrections and distinguish factual corrections from ordinary updates.

How to report an issue

Email [email protected] with the page address, the statement in question and an official or primary source when available. Do not send driver’s-license numbers, policy numbers, payment information or claim documents.

How we respond

Assess the claim

We locate the passage and compare it with authoritative sources.

Correct material errors

We update or remove inaccurate language and refresh the review date when warranted.

Preserve context

Minor spelling or style fixes may be made without a correction note; material corrections receive a plain explanation on the affected page when useful.

Material corrections and routine updates

A material correction addresses a statement that could change a reader’s understanding of a legal requirement, coverage term, company identity, price comparison or privacy choice. When context helps, the page will explain what changed. Routine maintenance includes replacing a moved official link, clarifying a sentence or updating a review date after rechecking the cited source.

We do not remove accurate information merely because it is unflattering, and we do not accept payment to alter an editorial conclusion. Requests from companies are evaluated under the same source standard as requests from readers.

Timing and follow-up

Review time depends on the source and potential consumer impact. Urgent safety or legal inaccuracies receive priority. A person who reports an issue may ask for the result by email, but we cannot promise an individual response to every submission.

Where to verify current information

Requirements, company availability and policy forms can change. Verify legal rules with the state regulator and confirm coverage in the insurer’s current policy documents.
